PreVegetable Garden continued....Part II

Good Morning All!

Yesterday evening was a success!  I plotted out my garden space, cleared out unwanted vegetation, turned up the soil and built the planter box.
                                                                          (I'm Ready To Dig!!)

Have no fear Dirty Matt is Here!!! It wasn't until I was covered in dirt that I finally found the large ground hoe =).

And after a hard evening of work.....the finished product!!! Well..almost finished.

Next on the list: 1- purchase transplants 2-lay soil 3- plant!

(Photography thanks to my lovely girlfriend Allison!)

  1. Great job Matthew Where is your garden? I would love to come see it and do you have good drainage for you boxes. Keep up the great work and posting pictures.

  2. Hey Angele!
It is still a work in progress. I plan to purchase the transplants this weekend and plant them. My garden is in lake view at my girlfriends house. Once I have it set up I'd love for you to come over and see it!

As far as drainage goes, do you have any suggestions. I know that part of the yard doesn't flood since it poured yesterday and it was only part of yard without water haha!

    Thanks for the support!

  3. project is looking good, wish I was there to help out.. but its prob nice to just take your time & figure out your own way to do it.

  4. Nick, I do enjoyed learning as I go, but since I am new to this, I gladly will accept any advice!

Want to go plan a small fishing trip when you get in town. I saw you mentioned your families new camp to Kev on FB. It would be awesome to learn some fishing tech from a SAIL FISHING MASTER!!! and post our trip on my blog!
